For permanently securing and packing
threaded connections. The product is
oil-resistant and hardens in the absence
of air (anaerobically) between close-fitting
metal surfaces and prevents the connections
from working loose and leaking as a result
of impacts and vibrations.
Particularly suitable for heavy-duty
applications such as securing stud bolts
in engine housings, nuts on stud bolts
in pump bodies, and other screw
connections where high strength is
called for. Good adhesive properties
and suitable for active metals (e.g. brass,
copper) and passive materials (e.g.
stainless steel), heat-resistant up to
200°C.
